Desu was born from a passion for leather accessories and fashion design in 2011. Over the years that were to follow, we learned a lot about the industry and honed our craftsmanship. In 2016, we launched our first women’s collection, followed by our flagship store and production house in Canggu, Bali.

The ethos behind the brand has always been to blend fashion and comfort seamlessly. We invoke timeless style with our classic cuts while we push things forward by using our signature treatments and refined details. Our all-natural textiles are tailored into form fitting patterns that compliment the figure while invoking a futuristic and urban edge.

We launched our first men’s collection in 2018. The men’s line leans heavily on the technical aspects of clothing and comfort while staying true to our essence. With menswear we carry on our tradition of updating classic styles with progressive details and textures. It is very important to us that our garments transition easily between street wear and dress attire.

Many of our textiles are hand-dyed and we are known for our signature pigment-based cold dye treatments. Pattern making, tailoring, and production are all done in-house. This allows us to personally attend to every detail of each garment, as well as to the well-being of our team. After many years together, we believe that our team is the true strength of our house. Working together well, year after year, is why we continue to thrive.
